DIPOLOG CITY: HOLY CROSS CATHEDRAL



Over a hundred year-old cathedral whose hand-carved ceilings remains intact to this day. The altar was designed by our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal. Built in 1895, it’s architecture and ambiance bring the prayerful visitor a worship experience reminiscent of those years of the Sundays veils. (Source: Explore & Experience ZAMPEN Magazine)


I personally experienced hearing a mass here with Jam. We went to the “centro” to purchase some boat tickets but the ticketing center was closed. We chose to attend and hear the mass while waiting for the others to prepare for our Dapitan Trip. We didn’t know that the award winning blogger and photographer Christian of Lakad Pilipinas wanted to hear the mass as well (oops sorry talaga master Christian).
