TANGUB CITY | Christmas Around the World 2015

Tangub City has been known as the Christmas Capital in the Philippines, ever since they started the city of lights concept. The artistic and architectural displays of replicas of the famous structures and figures of the world, showcases how talented and resourceful the Filipinos are.


I have been missing to visit Tangub city during christmas for the past 3 years during and after TS Sendong. This year 2014 however, we took the opportunity to visit and experience the festivities at Tangub City.

This year, they created a Christmas Around the world theme. Where famous structures were replicated and built around the city plaza. It was extravagant, amazing, nostalgic and well planned. The event is a competition among the city hall departments and baranggays and schools. 















I commend the local government of Tangub City for they were able to come up with a project, a concept and a touristy destination for their city to be known for and for creating a genuine opportunity for their city and their citizens to earn, even if it's only during this season. 

Did you know?
Tangub City's Sinanduloy cultural dance group is also the top performing dance group in the philippines today. They have been the champion for Sinulog street dancing contest in Cebu for the last 3 consecutive years.
