Calesa Iligan is one of the few cities in the country where the calesa or tartanilya is still used as public transportation. This is a must try for visitors like you. When I was younger, fare cost only 1 peso per ride. Now it cost Php 5.00 to 7.00 pesos. When you are in Iligan City, you should try to experience riding Calesa. When I have friends visiting Iligan City, I always encourage them to try the calesa ride. You can find them somewhere along the Pala-o Public Market to Baranggay Tambacan's Taboan.
