Cebu City | The Center Suites - Accommodation

After a hectic schedule in Dipolog and Dapitan, we stopped by Cebu for 3 days. I wanted to pamper me and be luxurious a bit. Good thing an Angel from up above grant my wish, a blogger friend in Cebu gave me a good deal to try their newly opened hotel. woohoo! They opened just 3 weeks ago if my memory serves me right.

The Center Suites is conveniently located at Brgy. Camputhaw, Gonzales Compd., Escario Street, Cebu City, Philippines, 6000, it's a 15-minute walk away to Ayala Center, 5-minute jeepney or taxi ride to Parklane Hotel and Restaurant, a few minutes away from Perpetual Socorr Hospital. It's a family owned business and is personally managed by the family.

John manages the pension. John was kind enough to tour us around, and check out their room accommodations and facilities.

The Toledo Suite Room (Php 2,400.00 per night)

Features:
  • Matrimonial Bed
  • Personal refrigerator
  • 32' lead TV
  • sofa
  • Telephone
  • Hot and Cold Shower

The Standard Double (Php 1,300.00)

This is where I stayed with Jam for a night in Cebu.
The mattress is real double mattress making it so comfortable to sleep on. It's not a pseudo mattress like what other pension houses are doing, deceiving it to be like a double mattress but when you check it, the first layer is all wood. Fluffy pillows too. The headboards are not just a piece of art but are functional too. Switch controls were placed in between beds for convenience. A 32 inch LED TV with their own SkyCable boxes. A very visible outlet and a working table, suitable for mobile workers like me.
The Economy Single Room (Php 900.00)

This is the only Econo room in The Center Suites. I asked John why and John said because usually, travelers could either be in big groups or in groups of two. Splitting a room fee is preferred than occupying single rooms, most especially if you're on a tight budget. Hmmm, makes sense...

A bit smaller room but the same facilities... cool...
The Center Lounge

I fell in love with their restaurant. The class is there, the ambiance is said to be perfect for a wedding or some gatherings like birthdays or seminars. The dining hall.I personally love the cove lighting of the rooms, it's not painful to the eyes.

Although it's in the heart of the busy streets of Escario, the rooms are quiet and cozy. You will not hear much of those serene of an ambulance, horns of the vehicles or those drag raising sounds of cars and motorcycles.

The Second Floor

The second floor is near completion. They have small meeting rooms good for 5 to 10 people sitting comfortably around long tables. The chapel is almost complete. Bigger rooms are found on the second floor, rooms for 4-5 persons, suitable for families or retreats.
The Center Suites is trying to answer the corporate needs of their customers. Providing small conference rooms and meeting rooms for close door meetings with your clients, isn't that cool? Retreats, recollections, and seminars don't have to be too far from home, that's why they developed this kind of accommodations and facilities within the City.
