Nacpan Beach in El Nido Palawan is one of the must-visit sites in El Nido. I don't know what else to say. lol According to my research (from other blogs), Nacpan Beach is a 4km stretch of powdery sand beach. The beach is still in its virgin beauty. Although resorts are starting to sprout in the area. I just hope it will not be abused like what other touristy beaches in the Philippines right now. Everything seems to be perfect in Nacpan Beach. Despite its distance and difficulty of access roads, people flock and visit Nacpan Beach. It is already touristy, but I am still hoping for its virginity be reserved.  When we arrived we already saw a portion of the shore with umbrellas and seats for sunbathing for rent. I prefer those shouldn't be that near to the beach. This was our humble home for 3 days here in Panglao Bohol. The owner of this resort bought the property for only 27,000 pesos way back 1983. Who would have thought that this island will become a tourist destination today. Today the value of this property is approximately at 15,000-25,000 per sqm. With a very beautiful shoreline, white beach and very accessible to public.

SETTING OF EXPECTATIONS : This is an official business trip. Not a backpacking trip.  October 26, 2013 6:00 am. I’m ready to board that flight. I get in a taxi and went to the office thinking they’d be waiting for me. But to my surprise they went without me in it. Don’t worry I was able to catch up with them at the airport. We arrived at exactly the same time at the Mactan domestic departure area.

Beach front accommodation in Boracay Island.  Chillax Travel and Tours booked me at Deparis Beach Resort. I got their room for 2. It’s a good deal for less than 2000 pesos per day, because it’s a beach front hotel, it’s just walking distance to the conference venue (Boracay Regency Hotel)and the cheapest in Boracay Beach Station 2. The room has its own Comfort room, cable TV, WIFI Connection (secured per user), refrigerator, air-conditioned, hot and cold shower, cabinet, side table and your own safety box. This is my home for 3 nights and 4 days. The resort has a restaurant and it offers buffet dinner daily. I go to try their pizza when I arrived. I haven’t eaten before the trip and yes it’s pricey. I don’t have a choice at that time. It was raining really hard and I can’t go out to buy some decent and budget friendly food to feed myself. It’s a yummy pizza, I should say, rich in toppings and cheesy. And for that one setting, a pizza and a can of coke cost me 495...

The mini chocolate hills of Bohol     In one of my alone time while I was in Tagbilaran City Bohol, I visited the Tagbilaran Rizal Park. It's right across the Bohol National Museum and across of which is the St Joseph the worker Cathedral.

Located just across the St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral Church and the Rizal Park in Tagbilaran City I have been to Bohol for multiple times, but it is my first time to visit and explore the National Museum Bohol Branch. It reopened just recently after a few renovations to make the museum look better. They added new items and have stitched history for tourists and Filipinos to better understand Bohol , Boholanos and it's history.

In my recent trip to Bohol with the Singles of Corpus Christi Chapter, I haven't had a a river cruise. It is because of the limited funds we had. Instead of having the eat all you can meal in the cruise we chose to eat just beside the Loboc River in one of the (i think) closed restaurants along the river.

For my many trips to Bohol, this is my very first time to experience Chocolate Hills sight seeing at the Sagbayan Peak. We usually go to the Carmen viewing deck and majority of the tour guides and their tour packages go to Carmen, simply because it's nearer and for me the area is far more preserved compared to the Sagbayan Peak viewing deck.  I just find that house destroying a beautiful scene

If you have been to Bohol, you might probably have passed by or stopped for a while in this cold street of Bohol, the Loboc Man-made Forest. It's a 12.2 kilometer streak of manually planted trees to make a forest. It had been well guarded and maintained both for tourism and the balancing eco-system. 

It's probably the most visited cave when you speak of Bohol. Hinagdanan Cave is located in Dauis, Panglao Island Bohol. Although there are other caves in Bohol, Hinagdanan Cave is the most visited because of it's accessibility to the public. You don't have to be extremely fit to go down the cave. This is probably my 3rd time in Hinagdanan Cave. And everytime I visit the place, there's always something new. What's New? There are more and more gift shops or pasalubong shops in the area. When we arrived I didn't really recognized it as Hinagdanan Cave because of an increasing number of pasalubong shops in the area. Another is the visible resort near the place.  Visited the St. Joseph the Worker Cathedral yesterday and attended the 5:00 PM Eucharist as well. It's located at the heart of Tagbilaran City just across the National Museum and the park. Although it's very accessible tourist don't usually drop by here. Why? simply because it's most of the time not included in tour itineraries, compared to the famous Baclayon Church and Loboc Church where the Loboc Boys Choir is in. The Cathedral church is one of the oldest Church in bohol, just like the Baclayon Church. However, compared to Baclayon Church, the Cathedral have undergone numerous renovations and modernization of the interior. But the old structure remained the same. The second time I was in Bohol was not because of a vacation trip. It was an emergency. A mother of an old friend (old? meaning di na friend karon? lols) had a scheduled operation at the Provincial Hospital, so we were there for moral support. The third time I went to Bohol was with my family. It was just recently that I have known that my ancestors were from Bohol and are pure Boholanos. I wasn't able to meet a boholano relative there during the visit though but my family has been there with my Lolo and Lola I think last 2008 or 2009 during the Kids International Village held in Bohol. Few familiar clan members were there and so they had a quick meet and greet with the family. No wonder why Bohol is so dear to me. Bohol has a significant place in my heart. My first step in Bohol was June of 2007 and ever since then I have been coming back  to Bohol. I had a very good impression with Bohol and the Boholanos, during my first trip I was lucky to be with the right people. Before the whole tour started, the tour guide welcomed us (the guests) in Bohol and sang Bohol's Hymn, which is so lovely. As a first timer, I was so impressed with how the tour guide welcomed us... indeed it was a warm welcome from a Boholano.
