Cagayan de Oro City | Philtown Hotel - Accommodation

Checked in too early for me to take that extended nap. I only had a few hours of sleep because of a late sign off, a long meeting on board the boat to Cagayan de Oro City from Cebu. We will be speaking in front of a hundred of real estate people today for the launch of the rental agency company of my boss.


We were housed at Philtown Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City. It’s one of the oldest and trusted hotels in Cagayan de Oro. I have been here a few times. When I joined Herbalife International for the healthy and fit program, this is also the venue. They have that big space required for functions like this.


We had our buffet breakfast and then prepared for the seminar. So just sharing you some photos of the cozy room I shared with my real estate idol, Ms. Azela Honor of the company’s Talisay Branch.


Story: The hotel is located at the heart of the city and there are many schools, hospitals, and businesses around it. One night, there was this disturbing sound of lovers from the other room which we can clearly hear from the other side. So if you lovers are planning to check in their hmmm yes, the other room can hear you.

Philtown Hotel is located at the heart of the city, near the malls, hospitals and other business establishments. It is budget friendly. However, if you are that person who wishes to control the temperature of the air-conditioned room, this is not your go to place. The air conditioner is centrally controlled.

The standard room for 3 comes with a single bed and a double bed. The comfort room is big but shows it’s tenure of use. It does not have a hot and cold shower and Television. The lighting is good for sleeping, to dim for someone who wants to read books or articles. A lovers room indeed.




What I love the most is their buffet breakfast that comes free with the overnight stay accommodation. Breakfast is served from 6 in the morning until 10 in the morning. It’s undeniable base on their online reviews and my personal experience, that they have good food.
