 Tiklas falls is located at Brgy. Lawit Of Gingoog City. It is 7 km away from the National Highway and can be reached by riding skylab (modified single motorcycle) or multicab for hire from the Poblacion of Gingoog City. If you have your own car you can just drive your way towards Tiklas falls. The road is well cemented thus transportation is not really a problem. It was father's day when we decided to celebrate it away from home. We visited Tiklas Falls for the first time with the whole clan, and by saying that our grandpa and other relatives were with us. 

Sto. Nino Cold Spring.  Camiguin island is not really something new to me. My mom was born in Sagay, Camiguin Island. My mom's ancestors and relatives are living in Sagay. Having said that Sto. Nino cold spring is not really that foreign to me. We have been here quiet a few times already. And since in Sagay we live near the river, we know how cold the waters is.  Recently, I visited the Sto. Nino cold spring in Catarman with the CFC-Singles For Christ North Eastern Mindanao Full time workers. So this is how it is today.   It now has a decent bathroom and comfort rooms for the guests,  open cottages , landscaped surroundings and a number of stalls outside selling pasalubong pieces and people offering meals to the tourists or visitors. 

Last May 19, 2012 Iligan Bloggers Society Inc . celebrated their 1st Anniversary with a Summer Party at Mimar's Springway Resort. Last April 20 and April 22, 2012 me and my family was here to celebrate the birthday of my siblings Nique and Kirk. After seeing my posts, a reader asked me why am I keep on going there when in fact they have lesser number of swimming pools compared to the other resorts in the area. So here's the reason why. That's my sister. Taken during her swimming training as an athlete for their school (Iligan SPED Center) They practice everyafternoon if they have a competition scheduled. But they regularly swim  7am to 9am Saturdays and Sundays under the Supervision of Coach Ning Ning The 2 lower left pictures is a 16 feet deep pool. It also has a short and tall diving board   The lower left and upper right picture is a pool of Mimars Swimming Pools viewed from Dela Mars stairs going up to the 16 ft deep pool area. FACTS: + Water in the pool is fresh spring water. Expect it to be cold or super cold. hehe + Locals are not used to women wearing full swimming attire (2 piece bikinis or even swimsuits). + T-shirt and shorts is the usual swimming get up ( telling you this so as not to culture shock yourself! :P) + They don't cater and they don't have a restaurant inside, if you wanted to order food you need to buy them outside and bring them in. + It's a wet picnic place, a...
