We arrived in El Nido past 11 in the evening and went straight to our accommodation at Northern Hope Inn. It's a homestay owned and managed by a local in El Nido and is located right beside the El Nido port. They also manage Northern Hope Tours, the travel agency we chose to arrange our accommodations and itineraries for the whole duration of this trip.  El Nido port is where the life of El Nido is. This is where the majority of the budget-friendly accommodations are and one of the busiest district in town. It houses a lot of must-try restaurants, nightlife, and socials. Nacpan Beach in El Nido Palawan is one of the must-visit sites in El Nido. I don't know what else to say. lol According to my research (from other blogs), Nacpan Beach is a 4km stretch of powdery sand beach. The beach is still in its virgin beauty. Although resorts are starting to sprout in the area. I just hope it will not be abused like what other touristy beaches in the Philippines right now. Everything seems to be perfect in Nacpan Beach. Despite its distance and difficulty of access roads, people flock and visit Nacpan Beach. It is already touristy, but I am still hoping for its virginity be reserved.  When we arrived we already saw a portion of the shore with umbrellas and seats for sunbathing for rent. I prefer those shouldn't be that near to the beach. Guimaras Island “Mango Country of Visayas” Guimaras is an island province in the Philippines located in the region of Western Visayas. Among the smallest provinces, its capital is Jordan. The province is situated in the Panay Gulf, between the islands of Panay and Negros. Wikipedia Other than its famous sweet mangoes, Guimaras Island is also known for its white beaches. I never had an encounter with someone who came from Iloilo for a vacation not craving for the white sand beaches of Guimaras. It would be such a mortal sin not to experience swimming and walking along the white beaches of Guimaras.  Well, that's exactly what we just did. (haha haha) We stayed there overnight with the delegates and participants of SFC PRE-ICON, but since I was too tired for a swim, I slept instead during our free hours. My sister Eunice together with her household enjoyed the waters of Guimaras Island since she was out for a DIY tour. 

Beach front accommodation in Boracay Island.  Chillax Travel and Tours booked me at Deparis Beach Resort. I got their room for 2. It’s a good deal for less than 2000 pesos per day, because it’s a beach front hotel, it’s just walking distance to the conference venue (Boracay Regency Hotel)and the cheapest in Boracay Beach Station 2. The room has its own Comfort room, cable TV, WIFI Connection (secured per user), refrigerator, air-conditioned, hot and cold shower, cabinet, side table and your own safety box. This is my home for 3 nights and 4 days. The resort has a restaurant and it offers buffet dinner daily. I go to try their pizza when I arrived. I haven’t eaten before the trip and yes it’s pricey. I don’t have a choice at that time. It was raining really hard and I can’t go out to buy some decent and budget friendly food to feed myself. It’s a yummy pizza, I should say, rich in toppings and cheesy. And for that one setting, a pizza and a can of coke cost me 495...
