Bacolod City is known for its Maskara Festival. It happens every 3rd week of October, which is just in-time for our convention in Bacolod City. Almost all accommodations are fully booked. My accommodation booking went wrong and end up as an add-on to the office staff accommodation, which is not a problem to me at all.  They were booked at L'fisher Ecotel which is a budget hotel also owned by the biggest convention hotel in the City the L'Fisher Hotel, where our convention venue is. It is located right beside the L'Fisher hotel which is also along the national highway of Bacolod City.  We were occupying a Family Room that is normally good for 3 persons. We added 3 more extra beds to fit 6 people in it. The original set-up has 1 single bed and 1 matrimonial bed. It's Officially ber month and in Iligan City September is a month of celebration. Iligan City celebrates it's fiesta celebration for the whole month of September. It is the only City that holds a month-long celebration of Dyandi Festival Today, the flea market and Carnival will officially open, the locals usually call it "Mugna sa Iligan" although it's no longer officially called Mugna but since it has been accustomed by many, now even the new generation of Iliganons call it Mugna.
