Iligan City | Dear Manok
Majority of the food places here in Iligan City or probably in Mindanao and Visayas is more of grilled food. For some reason, majority of must go to places here are offering grilled food, and Dear Manok is one of the most visited and must try here in Iligan City.
Before Mang Inasal came into picture Dear Manok is already in the market and serving the tastiest original Chicken barbecue here in Iligan City. It has the tastiest chicken barbecue I ever tasted, no bias. I prefer it's taste over Mang Inasal and Tita Fannies, this two has their distinct taste that are also well loved by people.
Last father's day we opted to celebrate in Dear Manok with the family. The restaurant has a garden like or picnic feel outdoor food place. It's well ventilated and it suits well with the type of food they serve. You have the option to eat with utensils, but it's best eaten by hand or kamayan the typical way of eating grilled food here in the Philippines.
You can order other dishes and some desserts too. The place is well lit at night, and I personally prefer dinning at night time because it's more cozy and airy, since the place is mostly not airconditioned. However, they already have a party place or a conference room now that can cater private functions and/or parties.
Dear Manok is located at Atis St. Pala-o Iligan City Philippines 9200
